When your baby is placed in your arms for the first time, it’s as if the world shifts from black-and-white to color—so transformed is your heart. The awe, the tenderness, the unconditional love—it’s unlike anything else.

The greatest gift you can give yourself is photography that preserves the miracle of this fleeting time. From their tiny toes to their button nose, I’ll capture all that beauty.

My mission is to help you decorate your world with meaningful artwork that brings you back to this moment in your life. Back to the light. Back to the love.

All sessions take place in my warm little newborn studio located on our farm just north of Boulder, Colorado as well as in the surrounding fields and trails that make this part of Colorado so magical.

She is the baby whisperer–coaxing that beautiful smile, soothing and lulling the baby back to a blissful slumber, and creating a serene and playful backdrop for the adults to relax in while watching the magic unfold. The only thing that topped the photo shoot session was seeing the actual images at the gallery viewing. My husband and I teared up endlessly watching photo after photo. D’Ann is amazing to work with as a photographer and worked with us to incorporate ideas we had as well as what she knew would be a great photo. She even knit a custom hammock for a particular photo we wanted. That is going the extra mile! The photos were amazing and we receive compliments anytime someone sees them in our home. Session Details

I tend to book out 9+ months in advance, so be sure to reach out to me with plenty of notice. There’s always the slim chance I can fit in a newborn or maternity photo session last minute, but not guaranteed, so it’s always better to book sooner than later.

NEWBORN SESSION

Includes a 3—4 hour session in my studio with the use of vintage-modern and homemade props.
An appointment at the studio two weeks after the photo session where you can view your gallery of images and place your order.
$400 – Session fee (paid when booking the session)
$2000 – Minimum order requirement (paid towards your purchase at the purchasing appointment where you get to view your gallery of images and place your print and/or digital order two weeks after your photo session). This is so that I may limit the number of sessions to ensure the highest quality of product and service.

MATERNITY SESSION

30 minute session to capture your beautiful belly.
Your choice of location.
One or two outfit changes.
An appointment at the studio two weeks after the photo session where you can view your gallery of images and place your order.
$250 – Session fee (paid when booking the session)
$1500 – Minimum order requirement (paid towards your purchase at the purchasing appointment where you get to view your gallery or images and place your print and/or digital order two weeks after your photo session). This is so that I may limit the number of sessions to ensure the highest quality of product and service.

REQUEST PRICE CATALOG

During a typical photo session I create about 20-25 hand edited portraits. Some will be candid and loose, while others will be tightly posed with everyone looking at the camera and smiling.

I also always capture a few more creative images that bring out the beauty of the location. Two weeks after our photo session, we’ll schedule a time for you to come to the studio for your purchasing appointment where you get to view your gallery of images and place your order.

The most important part of a photo session is what you do with the images once you have them. Whether it’s prints to frame, holiday cards and fine art albums, or canvas and metal prints to hang on your walls – I have traveled far and wide in search of the highest end products.

With an in-house designer and time at your purchasing appointment to see and touch all the products, my goal is for you to walk away with both beautiful memories, and art you love.
