Smitten & Swoon specializes in newborn and baby posing.  We loved this beautiful girl photo session.  With soft pinks, purples vintage white and and amazing garden shot, this turned out to be the most beautiful gallery of images. More than vivid color, what looks best in newborn images is soft, sweet neutrals that bring out creamy baby skin and don’t distract from tiny features.  When baby posing, we pay the closet attention to detail.  We think of all ten fingers, and try to find the most beautiful angles.  We pay attention to light and shadow.  We try to add texture and layers to each and every image.  From lace to cotton to the fluffiest wool, we have lots of beautiful textures and props to choose from.  The most important aspect to baby posing is keeping your baby safe and comfortable.  We work slowly and allow babies to get cozy and comfy in their poses.  A typical newborn photo session lasts 2-4 hours in our warm, natural light studio in Boulder, Colorado.
