big brother ~ family of four {boulder newborn photographer}

This was my first photo session with this wonderful family, and I was so happy to help capture the moments as they became a family of four.  This family was so relaxed and the easiest to work with.  Big brother was elated to hold his baby brother.  I always start with a photo of the siblings because that’s usually the most important of all the photos I’ll take in the morning.  Because there’s usually a certain amount of smiles in a toddler, I don’t want to use them all up without the quintessential shot of the siblings together.  For this one, big brother wore a bow tie and the cutest smile.  He snuggled his new baby brother (who even smiled during the photos while he slept!).  I love the image of the two of them together cuddled and smiling up at me.  The little fingers intertwined and their perfect skin snuggled together is so precious.  Next we went out into my garden for a family photo.  Grandma and grandpa came too, and we got some great photos of everyone in the blooming summer garden.  Last, we went back into my warm studio for the solo newborn photos.  This little guy slept so peacefully through all the poses.  We even got to go outside again into my garden for a sleepy baby garden photo.  I love getting to know my clients during these longer newborn sessions.  I see how deeply parents love their new babies, and I feel so blessed to see this on a weekly basis.  The love a parent has for their child is the greatest most life changing love of all.  I’m so honored to be the one to step into your family and capture a glimpse of this love for you to look back on forever.
