Boulder Photographer

It’s been the busiest fall with so many beautiful photo sessions and I can’t wait to share them!  This time of year I get so behind on my blogging, Facebooking, and social-meadia-ing, but that’s because I’m outside in golden light with all my wonderful clients taking so many pictures!  So bare with me as I share a wide selection of my recent favorites instead of the details of a single session.  I’ve taken thousands and thousands of photos the past few weeks, and pausing now to celebrate the fact that my business thrives so effortlessly.  I’m humbled that families choose me to be their boulder photographer again and again and again.

The leaves seem to be trying to hang on to their limbs this year.  After snowstorms, windstorms and below freezing weather, it’s amazing that on October 17th we still have plenty of color.  Which is good, because I still have over 30 sessions booked for the next month!  From little babies in my studio and their adoring families, to rainbow hued fields with children smiling, and seniors in tutus or mamas in the water at sunset — it’s been a full season of stunning photography.  I love making each photo session really special.  When it’s a short and sweet mini session, I like to be creative and get a really wide angle of the Colorado views.  Or just have everyone get really close and snuggly.  When I have an hour or more at the photo session, I can be more creative.  Going into the water at sunset, getting low angles for a silhouette, or making magic that comes to life in Photoshop…my job allows me to be endlessly creative and I love it.
