Little Girl Loves Her Dad

 

This is one of my all time favorite images of my little girl and her dad.  Arabella adores him.  She pitter patters across the hall in the middle of the night to his side of the bed and sneaks into his arms to sleep there.  He’s the first thing she asks about when she wakes up in the morning.  She looks at him with dreamy love-eyes at the breakfast table when sharing a bowl of granola with him.  She walks him to his truck in the mornings and waves goodbye as he drives out of site.  Every morning.   All day she talks about him, sings songs to him, wonders what he’s doing.  At night it’s him, not me (who spends all my waking hours taking care of her) she asks to read a book.
My husband plays guitar every day, and in this moment was singing a song to his girl.  Just caught the perfect look of total daughter-daddy adoration.
