Warmth in Winter
Today is a wintery, snowy, freezing cold day. The snow laced trees against the snowy white sky are quiet and silent. Outside everyone is huddled in their dens, caves, burrows and nests. Even the birds are staying in today. We have tea, a hot fire, and my girl is napping under her homemade quilt. The perfect day to look back at pictures of warmer months. We went to the sea in October – in the middle of busy season. I haven’t had the chance to enjoy the pictures from that trip, to edit or post or print them. So today, on this coldest of days, I’m finding warmth in the pictures of golden skin and memories of running barefoot on hot sand into the beautiful, warm, blue sea.
