I have been looking forward to this newborn photo session for months.  After spending 18 months photographing their sweet little daughter, I was so excited to meet their newest addition.  If you don’t already follow this fancy mama on instagram, go check out her account!  It’s filled with the most beautiful photography of her life as a mom with two little ones plus their cute king charles cavalier puppy.  This mom’s artistic eye and creative aesthetic are swoon worthy.  Her daughter leads an enchanted life, and now that their little boy has arrived, there’s even more eye candy on her feed.  Besides being absolutely beautiful, this family is also so kind and grateful.  We started the photo session with family photos.  Can you believe little Dannica’s white dress?  So many of her clothes are one-of-a-kind and custom made creations from boutiques around the world.  I always love seeing what she’s going to wear.  Getting everyone in the frame when there’s a puppy and a toddler involved can be tricky, but this family made it so easy.  Next we focused on some sibling photos.  I love these images of connection and love.  After the sibling photos I focused on little DJ.  His mom wanted a photo to showcase his birth statistics, so we set up all the props around his sleepy wrapped self and took a photo from above.  Next I photographed him in the same wooden bed that I had photographed his big sister in just a couple years ago.  They look like twins!  Finally we did some poses in one of my favorite wooden bowls, and then one last sibling portrait.  I just love photo sessions for repeat clients.  There’s a foundation of trust and friendship, so we all really get to relax and just enjoy each other and the beautiful moments as they unfold.
