Baby girl’s six month photos {Boulder baby photographer}

I have been photographing this family for several years now.  I got to welcome their first born into the world and also captured her as she grew into the cutest toddler.  I was so excited to welcome them to the studio again for their baby girl’s six month photos.   We had such a great time capturing the love and beauty within their family.  Since it was just a mini session and in the middle of winter, I didn’t want to take up a lot of time changing into multiple outfits.  I knew we had to nail the color scheme from the very start.  We planned the colors of the clothing with the golden fields in mind.  I think creamy tones with hints of pink and silver and gold look breathtaking when matched with a winter field and mountain background.  Before the photo session we talked about textures.  I love the mom’s chunky textured sweater and how it adds a pop of dimension.  Combined with the pink and silver tulle dresses, some of these images look like they came out of a fairytale — which is just what I wanted!  We started in the golden field for some simple six month photos of this sweet baby girl.  Next we snapped some adorable sister photos.  I adore the image of the sisters hugging.  There is so much love in that image.  And the light just poured in!  The girls were easy and happy and made the perfect family portrait a breeze.  The whole photo session was filled with smiles and joy.  We even had time at the end of the session to sneak in some photos with pink and gold balloons.  It is such a great joy to watch families grow.  I loved meeting their lovely baby girl.   Enjoy a peek at the cutest baby girl’s six month photos.
