I love my job.  I love that I get to be outside at the most beautiful time of the day in the prettiest locations on earth photographing happiness and love.  This was such a joy-filled photo session.  For most families, I have to jump through 5204569987 hoops to get the children to laugh and smile and stay interested in my boring black camera being in their faces.  I play peek-a-boo, I blow bubbles, I make every noise I can to keep myself exciting.  But these kiddos were so perfect.  They were like little dolls I picked up at the store and set in my garden to photograph.  The older boys cuddled in to their sister so happily.  Their sister cuddled back with such joy.  I love starting photo sessions in my garden and then traveling to a new place to maximize the settings in your gallery.  My garden is deep emerald green with lots of depth of field.  We started there with some close up portraits and a few photos of the three kids snuggling together.  Our next stop was a huge field with mountain views and sweeping views of the sky.  The focus for this photo session was on the little girl, so we took lots of time with her.  I love her huge smile as she’s catching a handful of bubbles.  She’s wearing such a cute little jumper.  And that rim light lighting up her head makes her look like a girl out of a fairytale.  It was just a thirty minute session, but we had time for photos of just the three kids, photos of the whole family, some candids and some close ups.  When children are this easy to smile and easy to listen, it’s no effort at all to create a beautiful gallery.
