Living in a landlocked town, it’s difficult to find a beautiful location with water, reflections and sunlight.  But this is one of my favorite places to take my clients when they’re wanting something magical. Take that location and dress a mom in a sparkling goddess gown?  Cutest kids on the planet who are nothing but smiles?  Sold. The moment the birds flew by I knew this would be one of my favorite family photo sessions of the year.  I have been photographing this family for the past several years.  I’ve made a gorgeous photo album for the big sister’s first years, and we’re working on one for the youngest baby.  It makes me so happy to collect beautiful moments through all the seasons.  Compiling those moments into a fine art album turns photos into an heirloom.  I always like to think about how these images are going to feel in five years when everyone isn’t so little anymore.  Or ten years when these sisters are teenagers.  20 years when they’re living on their own.  Sometimes it’s not the value that the images bring to us now, (although that value is high) it’s the priceless value of them in the future.
