One Year Baby Photo Session {Boulder Colorado Baby Photographer}

I was bursting with excitement to see this beloved family again with their one (and a half!) year old baby girl.  I’ve been photographing little Dannica since she was brand new.  Following her growth and planning creative sessions throughout her first year has been soooooo much fun.  I really try to end the Baby Plan year with a bang, and even though it was middle of January, I think this photo session might be my favorite from our year together.  I added a little hand-edited magic to my sweet horse Sigfried.  I think he looks quite regal as a unicorn!  With the soft sunset pinks of the winter sky, the huge white balloons, and of course their sweet puppy Bella, this was another beautiful photo session.

I really like to plan photo sessions at sunset when the light is prime.  Even though the weather was a tad overcast, we got soft light and beautiful tones.  Dannica showed us how she can walk.  She smiled the whole time.  She rode in a hot air balloon with her sister puppy, and smiled with both her beautiful parents.  I pinch myself that this photo session location is my backyard.  I feel so lucky to live in Colorado with mountain views and sunsets out my backyard.  I love sharing this space with my clients and creating magical photo sessions.  Enjoy this peek at little Dannica’s one year baby photo session {Boulder Colorado Baby Photographer}.
