Outdoor Engagement Photo Session {Boulder Portrait Photographer}

Our gorgeous nanny is getting married, so to celebrate we had an outdoor engagement photo session with her husband to be.  We were outside in a beautiful backyard in downtown Boulder where the sun was streaming through.  Before photo sessions in March I sometimes go into them thinking they won’t be as beautiful as in June because the trees still have no leaves and there is very little green.  But every single time I’m surprised at how beautiful every location in Colorado can be no matter the season or time of year.  Hope got her makeup done by my favorite makeup artists at Alchemy in Boulder.  They did such a beautiful job.  Hope looked stunning with her big beautiful eyes and golden glow.  We started the photo session on some porch steps with the texture of stone behind them.  Wandering around the backyard, we stopped for some portraits on a bridge, and then onto some log seats.  Hope and Spencer are completely in love.  Their happiness and joy just shines through these images.  I love the close ups and they way the warm light is falling into the background.  Next, they changed into some fancier clothes and we drove up the mountain to the most breathtaking spot I’ve ever photographed.  This beautiful lookout above Boulder is the most jaw dropping background for photos.  I’ve taken seniors here for dramatic senior photos, and every time I’m up here I’m reminded why I live in Colorado.  The photo of Spencer and Hope on top of the mountain hugging is my favorite photo from our photo session.  I can’t wait for their September wedding in Breckenridge.  These two have a love that is going to last a lifetime.  It was an honor to be able to gift them with their outdoor engagement photo session.
